Back To The College Part II

Finally bothered to spend some of my shit cells to post a new entry on the little heap. Yes Sirs and Mdms I am back to studying in college after a freaking long 2 months break...which got interrupted by a 9 days CNY break after 2 weeks of school. To make this post look like a sequel I put part II when actually it's just a reference that I had ANOTHER holiday to pull me away from college life...

CNY was boring...went to the soil that my traceable roots came from...meaning China.
Well I must be a boring person because when I reached there I realised my home-soil was SO boring I actually started to do weird things that people do when they're over the edge of boredom bordering on insanity. I must have looked rather insane to the people there cause I kept getting stares like I was a gorilla walking on the streets or something. Then again, everyone was decked out in furry clothes as it was winter season whilst I looked like I could have been in the Bahamas...

To me these Chinese people are really powerful...don't feel hot even though it's basically just cooling most of the time, although it did get chilly on certain days, but it's like standing in front of an open fridge most of the time. I wonder if they will wear that shit if you put them in Singapore or KL and told them it was winter season too.

Possibly one of the biggest factors was the lack of sore-eye soothers...One day in the right place in KL (I'm not saying where) you can see more pretty girls than 7 days in China man...And if they looked any good they'd be in winter clothing anyway. Ok there might be the occasional one or two but really not worth the time to fly there and all blah blah blah...

Well at least I know I'm straight hahaha, after all the stupid accusations from my 'friends' who say I'm gay. Then again, not many handsome guys either hahaha...

Retarded man, this post sounds like it's source is insane. Well if that is proven, then you know which country's soil caused it...

Duality

I'll get straight to the point this time and leave the shit till the end, sounds like a plan eh?

Last Saturday at Bukit Bintang (KL's Orchard Road, not the hidden LRT in SG), I saw something very nice happen...There was this old Chinese man who wasn't really physically capable of crossing the road without being car fodder and I saw two Malay guys helping him to cross and stopping cars that were getting a bit too close. I thought that was really nice to see in a country frequently perceived to be racist. And I wanna point out, those two guys looked just like your average Malay guys meaning they aren't some 'upper-class' Malay or something like that. This is to contrast with what I experienced yesterday while coming back into KL.

Early morning at the JB customs, I got checked by this Malay lady whom I suspect might be half-Chinese or something due to her name which I shan't disclose here. Well she did the right thing of stopping me to check my huge luggage cause I think I look like a criminal nowadays haha. Well anyway, that was fine, it was her stupid questions and seemingly racist attitude that pissed me off.

First of all, when she asked me what was inside the box in my luggage I told her they were CDs, used ones at that. Ok she made me take them out and then starts asking dumbass qns like my nationality, making me take out my passport...AND one of the stupidest questions she could ask was "Where did you buy all these?"

I mean like, where else would I have bought it man? If I bought it in Malaysia would I be bringing it in and out? If I bought it outside of Singapore and wanted to sell it for a profit why the hell would I bring it into Malaysia to sell!?!? Not to condemn the whole population but I'm pretty sure most of the people staying in M'sia DON'T buy original stuff down here. Especially PS2 games. Sheesh, original PS2 games practically don't exist here (they do but it's really retarded to take so much effort to find it when the pirated ones are just jumping in your face everywhere else). Nvm, after she was finally convinced that I wasn't going to do anything illegal she let me through and guess who was the next guy she stopped? Yes, a Chinese man. In the meantime she was just telling every other Malay traveller to go through.

In conclusion I'd like to say that it's good I still remember the name of this 'hardworking' lady and it's sad that I don't know the names of the two Malay guys who helped the man. If I see that lady AGAIN during another of my trips and she wants to try that same shit again I'll give her an argument she'll wish she never had...my fury is unleashed (I'm copping YJM here :p)

Gas upon the pile

Wah piang oi, I haven't posted anything for a good jolly 3 months...well, doesn't mean nothing's happened during this period. In fact, I think too much has happened for me to put it down in words hehe...

Ok, my pathetic excuse aside, I'd like to point out that this post will probably be a whiff of crap unlike the loads that I loved to excrete out of my anal-lytical cerebrum haha

Right now I'm actually midway through my blissfully unexciting (ignorance is unexciting too isn't it?) holidays which has seen me gone back to sg for almost a dozen days and then spending most the time from then until today playing the soul-stealing Diablo 2 (with LOD of cos).

I guess it's true about habits that you try to quit; if you get back to them the addiction is even stronger than before. Much like Diablo taking over his soulstone carrier (the champion of Diablo 1) and proceeding to turn into an even more powerful evil force that grips hapless mortals like I and proceeds to make them do Baal, Meph and Pindleskin runs till the Mosques 'sing' at the retarded time of 6am...

Damn it, the gas is solidifying. I just realised putting my 'waste'ful (pun intended) thoughts down is something I don't do regularly but happens diarrhoeatically :D

I'd love to start school again, it provides me with something to do apart from trying to save the world from evil. In case you were wondering where evil came from, I can tell ya: Blizzard North...although it seems they've gotten so evil that they had to reform as Hyboreal...

Anyway, I'm glad to add that I've successfully changed my unearthly playing hours so that I now sleep and wake like every normal human on earth (wake 7.30am sleep 12 or earlier). There's more food to eat in the daytime you see.

Ok ok, before I stop farting and keep shooting solid snakes (mud camouflage =P) I shall make a forceful end of my *OUCH*.................

Haw Seow Forever

For those of you who don't know, the title is a lame reference made to Duke Nukem Forever, a game that has threatened to come out for 7 years or more...if I remember correctly. I say 'threatened' cause these kinda games are supposed to steal all your productive hours away and suck your life essence out so you end up as a zombie in front of your computer.

Ok I'm sidetracking again. The main point is I know I've taken a damn long time to put something new on this blog and no one is probably reading it anyways...but at least it's a place where I can air my thoughts before they grow mould in my brain :D

Well anyways, many things have happened as expected. Oops, that phrase sounded wrong. Sounds like things have been going my way right? Perhaps I need a comma to make it 'many things have happened, as expected' to make it mean what I meant hehe...

I've somehow drifted into the topic of bad english and so I'd like to point out to the people who might be reading this (as rare as it may seem) that Singapore is under a bad-english invasion...

Stuff I saw in Singapore which I found 'interesting':

1. Burger King's 'flamed-grilled patties': perhaps the patties were grilled by online-flaming?

2. Vhive (some furniture store in Funan) had this sign with a quote like 'professional assembly! let us assembly it for you!'

3. Many 'S's missing on advertisement signs where they should have been, and present when they shouldn't...eg. 'Wirelesss'

So sad that I have to point these out, but then again, I'm too free in Singapore hahaha

Hopefully my next entry will have more substance of the non-defecated kind heehee

Will the real bad habit please stand up?

ARGH...as 'promised' in my last entry, there is some bad news to be whined about again...

Firstly, I believe I've come face to face with the horrors of my procrastination. It's one of my bad habits of which I have many. Maybe I shall put out a partial list so this particular habit will look less like a bad one :D

1. Procrastination
2. Untidy
3. Lazy
4. Irresponsible
5. Greedy
6. Rebellious
7. Deceptive

Wow...my partial list is like...the bad habits of several arseholes combined! Hmm ok let me try and reduce them to their core or something...

Like, I think I can say being lazy results in procrastination and irresponsibility. From those two I get untidy...so actually my list could be a bit shorter:

1. LAZY!
2. Greedy
3. Deceptive
4. Rebellious

Being greedy actually negates being lazy...unless I've got the cash to blow on home-delivery ALL THE TIME...so that means I'm lazy at doing what I should do and working hard at doing what I shouldn't do (like eating).

So that boils down to being rebellious, after all, I've just realised being deceptive falls under it as well.

Ok great, so now I'm just REBELLIOUS.

Well at least that's ONE compressed bad habit.

Alright back to whining...

I came back to Singapore around the first week of June and then went back to KL and Penang for about 5 days before coming back again. There were things I SHOULD have done in that first week but didn't. So now I have to face the cacophony (bad music) of my symphony of bad habits (wat an oxymoronic pun-filled sentence of death). The band members are Lazy Bum, Procrastinating Clarinet, Irresponsible Cad and band leader Rebel Rocker (hehe).

Well, no encore I hope...till next time.

Shucks...

Shucks man, it's been a long time since I blogged. More than a month in fact...simply amazing...

Of course, since it's been such a while, lots of things have happened, which also means I won't be covering it all (I'm just lazy).

Ok, firstly, I've just completed my 3 months PFM course yesterday. Things went quite well and I owe my classmates and lecturer a very very big 'THANK YOU' for all the support they've given me. Btw, jamming with Iqram unplugged was really cool and fun! My soloing was haphazard onstage hahaha, played some 'jazz' chords too :D

Originally planned on going back to Singapore TODAY but my passport's gonna expire next month so I've gotta renew it and.........

I woke up early today (too early in fact) and wanted to take a taxi to the immigration centre. Well anyway, I locked myself out without my keys (for the 2ND time) which totally sucks. Then after waiting for buses and taxis for a while, I realised I DID NOT TAKE MY PASSPORT!!! How's that for screwing up eh?

Of course, none of these would have happened (not today at least) if I had just bothered to renew it earlier...

The only good thing is my landlady has the key, BUT she'll only be free after 9am which is why I decided to do some morning surfing (sounds like healthy exercise eh?)

My stay in Singapore will probably be punctuated by returns to KL in order to move some of my stuff over. ARGH...the bad news keeps coming...

Don't worry though, more bad news and bullshit will appear on this blog during my SG stay since this time it's for a longer stretch hehehe. Cheers~

Sandman, where art thou?

Oh man, these past two days has seen me sleeping at around 11.30pm, waking at around 5am and then probably taking a nap around 3pm on Saturday. Basically, my sleeping hours have gone bonkers. Well, it happened after I went to my friend's house at around 1am on Friday to play DMC3 on my PS2.

Played until almost 8am before I left, during which my friend had fallen asleep hours ago since he had class at 9am. I totally LOVE that game (I love it over GOW), even though most of the time it's just kicking my ass.

When I reached my own home which is just about 3 minutes walk away, I was rather miffed to find out that my housemates had locked me out of the house. The door has two locks, one of which none of us has the key to, and they happily locked it probably assuming that I was asleep in my room or something.

Pressing the bell a bizillion times didn't help and calling my housemate's mobile phone was futile. There was only one route left to take. (Apart from trying to break in to my own home)

I proceeded to head down to the nearby McDonald's for breakfast. Stoned to the max, I decided to just wait till one of them got up and decided to go out of the home.

Luckily when I went back that particular lock was unlocked. Can't say how relieved I was to get into my own room and have a great shower before going to sleep. Woke up around 6pm only to sleep at 11.30pm and alter my biological clock apocalyptically.

Well at least I spend more time practising my guitar hehe. Getting used to the 5 patterns of the pentatonic scale. Still can't solo for shit though.

Right now I'm still a bit stoned, can't seem to bullshit either. Mental constipation I think.

Oh one last great update, both classes are now on Tuesday! So that means I can spend almost 6 days in Sg when I go back this round. Sheesh, I'm getting boring...it's time to post and log out :(
